Life is pretty good at throwing us curve balls when we least expect it, and that’s exactly what happened to three friends. They were laid off from their jobs; a result of the current economy. It's been said, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” With that mindset, instead of looking back, they chose to look forward, and came across an idea that really wasn’t that new, but was something they felt they could make their own.
Thus, Community Foods was born out of both necessity and desire. The necessity of stretching every dollar in tough economic times led us to a desire to start a business that not only provided for our families, but also served our community. The plan was simple; deliver top quality, fresh food, at wholesale prices, directly to the consumer. Nothing complicated, just something that made sense.
So, with a passion for exceptional food and the desire to serve communities, we proudly offer you Community Foods.
